The Child Expert Network was established in response to a growing demand for high quality, evidence based assessments in the Family Law system. Originally founded in 2019 as Coshaw Consulting by Kim Coshaw, CEN has since evolved into a trusted network of experts known for producing impartial reports that provide insight into the best outcomes for children and assist the Court in making informed decisions.
Kim continues to lead the network, ensuring that every report reflects the high professional standards on which CEN was built.

Our team comprises experienced Child Experts who bring a deep understanding of child development, family systems, and the complexities of separation. We work across Australia to assist families to remain child-focused by preparing Family Reports, Child Impact Assessments, and Child Consultation in Mediation.

Every assessment completed through CEN undergoes internal quality assurance by Kim Coshaw.
